Damage
Damage refers to the loss of health points (hp), energy points (ep) or focus points (fp). In the case of health points, it can also come in various types.
Damage Types
Different weapons or harmful effects have different damage types. While there are no specific rules to a damage type. Other rules, like healing, damage mishaps or damage resistance can be applied to, or result from, a type.
Force (frc)
Damage from falling, bludgeoning by a club, concussive forces from explosions, or sonic weapons.
Pierce (prc)
Puncturing damage from the point of a spear or blade, or rounds from a firearm.
Slash (sls)
Generally only dealt by blades or whips.
Electric (elec)
Damage from lightning or electrocution.
Fire
Burn damage from plasma weapons, being sprayed with molten lava or metal, or burned in some other way by fire.
Cold
Freezing damage that comes from being sprayed with liquid nitrogen, or suffering frost bite from exposure.
Heat
Damage from radiated heat or from laser weapons.
Corrosive (corr)
Extremely powerful acids and bases that can eat away at material cause corrosive damage. Generally, these attacks will only damage some materials while ignoring others.
Poison (psn)
Damage from a venomous bite, or a cloud of noxious gas.
Radiative (rad)
Fissile materials, stars, ionising beams, cosmic rays, and unstable weapons cause radiative damage.
