Yorkin’s other main core sector, known primarily for its many multiple star systems, and the extensive wreckage laying close to 61 Cygni.
61 Cygni
The main centre of the sector, 61 Cygni is a fairly widely sepated binary, consisting of an orange dwarf and a large red dwarf. Both members have an extensive system of mostly icy planets, but there are a few, small rocky ones as well. The population is mostly served through habitats, the most significant planetary habitat is provided by the planet Vordis, orbiting 61 Cygni A. The terraforming of this planet was largely completed by 2720, and consisted mostly of adding significant bulk to the atmosphere.
Struve
Struve is a close binary pair of intensely flaring red dwarfs in highly eccentric orbits. Each star has a system of planets that are truncated at roughly twice the snowline. Most activity is centred on the many terrestrial moons, particularly around Once, a 15-earth mass terrestrial at Struve B’s snowline.
