Clavian
Clavians are residents of a parallel earth, where that meteorite that ended the dinosaurs in our reality, never happened.
Clavians are warm-blooded avian dinosaurs (so basically birds), but unlike modern birds, do not have beaks. The four pictures shown below are an approximation to what a clavian looks like.
The main differences between the pictures and what a real clavian would look like are:
- The hands - Clavians have similarly sized hands but they have two opposable thumbs and three remaining fingers. The hands have to be able to do all the things a human can do.
- clavians do wear clothes
- the head of a clavian is generally larger than these pictures suggest.
Clothing
Obviously, with a large tail, they must accommodate that in their clothing.
If the tail is uncovered, then they use something similar to shorts. When the tail is entirely covered, they have all sorts of arrangements, but the bottom half is much more durable, because the last one-third can be on the ground.
The tail, if shot, is for them, like getting shot in the leg, so combat armour will always cover the tail, unless it's like a ballistic vest, in which case, it is worn similarly to humans.
The head
It's important that there be enough room in the head for brains, so don't make the head too small. Their eyes should be intense. Prefer having eyes that are wide with religious fervour. Clavians are intelligent, they are very inventive, but a bit given to ideological fervour.
Actually the first picture has some pretty intense eyes. Maybe they're the best pick, for a single picture.
