A closed suit with self-contained environmental breathing apparatus, designed for working in challenging environments. Five variants of this lay in the light armour category, a furhter two in the heavy armour category and 1 on the powered armour category.

The light aquatic aegis suit is for shallow water operation. It is most commonly called a gillsuit as it processes the breathable component of the dissolved atmosphere. If there is no breathable component, then the suit consumes a breathable material store.
