Description: A psionic skill that centres on contact with, understanding of, and the influence on people's essential consciousness and minds.
There are 5 main usages of Telepathy:
- your anomalous knowledge gives you a roll on any skill (at disadvantage) for the purposes of knowing something.
- you are able to read the mind of a single person
- you can also read a whole room
- you can perform an old-school strike with a functioning striker and a Guf contact, and
- you can affect the minds of others as you pass by them, making them forget you were ever there.
know(free-action)
You can call upon the knowledge of the collective unconsciousness on any subject, by performing a check on this skill under disadvantage. While this can give access to a near-infinite repository of knowledge, the conclusions you draw can be incorrect.

read(main-action, 1fp)
You can target a creature within your senses and get a reading of their emotional state. You must overcome the Social Challenge (SC) of the subject of your reading. If you overcome the SC, you get a general understanding of the target's emotional state (despair, fear, affection, aversion, hopefulness, etc.). This understanding gives you an advantage on your next Deceive, Perform or Persuade or Stealth check against that target, as long as it is within the next minute.

search-read (round, 1fp)
You can target all creatures within your senses and get a reading of the emotional state of the creature with the strongest or most significant emotions out of those for whom you overcame their SC.

Striking(scene & day+, 1fp)
As a ritual, with the aid of a functioning striker, the Vcl-Striker qualifier, and a ronite guff contact, Telepathy can be employed to perform a strike.
In this method, a ronite guff navigator inhabits your body for a strike (see the following heading Gaining a Guf Contact for details). The ronite guff navigator uses the striker's scersics, enabling a strike up to a distance, limited by the striker's capabilities.
This manoeuvre can be done as an action by spending 1fp and succeeding in an Telepathy check against a challenge determined by the distance on a skill roll.

This roll needs to overcome the strike Challenge (C), which is 10 + distance covered by the strike in ly.

Gaining a Guf Contact
You may gain a ronite guff contact by either one of two rituals:
- By spending 5fp, and succeeding on a chk(Telepathy,15), you may obtain your own contact from a ronite guff, determined on the table below.
- By having a mnemonic contact with an AI that has ronite guff contacts.
