Description: A trait skill that rates your intelligence, reasoning and intuition.

Definition​

A passive check on the Insight skill sets the Social Challenge (SC) that you present to your opponents.

Otherwise Insight can be checked to decide whether you can understand:

  • the true intentions of a creature, such as when searching out a lie or predicting someone's next move;
  • a notable or crucial piece of information or understanding from the situation or events around you.

In the first case, your opponent's chk(Deceive) is opposed by your chk(Insight), meaning that they roll their chk(Deceive), the resulting score is noted and becomes the Challenge for your chk(Insight).

Insight can also be used to overcome the SC that your opponents present to you.
