-> eff= -6(Str,min), 10(audio), throw(range)-> eff= 1d4 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc)
-> 1ep for 12act
Description: An energy blade, when turned on, consists of a stream of plasma, confined by a tight magnetic field. The magnetic field and the plasma are provided by a rod that extends from the pommel, rather like a foil used for fencing. The great value of these weapons is that they are light and easy to wield effectively, and they can pierce armour.

-> eff= -6(Str,min), 8(audio) -> eff= 1d4 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc)
◊ ranged-att(main | bonus-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Thrown)
-> eff= -6(Str,min), 8(audio), throw(range)
-> eff= 1d4 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc)
Description: Although superficially like a regular blade, the fact that the fibreblade is made from extremely hard and light carbon fibres, means that it is a much lighter weapon overall. Some added weight is distributed at the tip of the blade to give it an effective action when used in a sweeping motion, or when thrown in the case of the hand fibreblade. A dagger, dirk, hand axe or knife, May be single or double edged.

Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 1ep for bonus-act
Usage: melee-att(main | bonus-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Short)
-> eff= -4(Str,min), 8(audio) -> eff= 1d6 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc)
Description: A shortsword version of the previous listing.
Fibreblade, long

Description: A two-handed sword version of the previous listing.
Nanoblade, hand
300:2(cost), 0.1/0.3(wt), 12(CC)
Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 1ep for bonus-act
Usage:
◊ melee-att(main | bonus-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Short)
-> eff= -5(Str,min), 20(audio) -> eff= 1d4 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc), 3(pen)
◊ ranged-att(main | bonus-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Thrown)
-> eff= -5(Str,min), 20(audio), throw(range)
-> eff= 1d4 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc), 3(pen)
-> 1ep for 15act
Description: When switched off, the nanoblade appears similar to an energy blade, although usually a bit lighter. When turned on, it acquires a shimmering blade surrounding the rod. The blade itself is actually a structure of nanobots that form a nanoscale cutting edge. The nanoblade ends up being similar in weight, and balance to a fibreblade, only a little louder, but much sharper, giving them a penetrative quality. A dagger, dirk, hand axe or knife, May be single or double edged.
Nanoblade, short
500:2(cost), 0.1/0.4(wt), 12(CC)
Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 1ep for bonus-act
Usage: melee-att(main | bonus-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Short)
-> eff= -3(Str,min), 20(audio) -> eff= 1d6 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc), 3(pen)
-> 1ep for 10act
Description: A shortsword version of the previous listing.
Nanoblade, long
1K:2(cost), 0.1/0.8(wt), 13(CC)
Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 1ep for bonus-act
Usage: melee-att(main-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Long)
-> eff= -1(Str,min), 30(audio) -> eff= 1d8 +M +M(Str)(hp,sls), 3(pen)
-> 1ep for 7act
Description: A longsword version of the previous listing.

Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 2ep for main-act
Usage: melee-att(main-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Long)
-> eff= 2(Str,min), 35(audio) -> eff= 1d10 +M +M(Str)(hp,sls), 3(pen)
-> 2ep for 10act
Description: A two-handed sword version of the previous listing.
Vibroblade, hand
3K:2(cost), 0.1/0.3(wt), 13(CC)
Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 3ep for bonus-act
Usage:
◊ melee-att(main | bonus-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Short)
-> eff= -5(Str,min), 10(audio) -> eff= 2d4 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc), 2(pen)
◊ ranged-att(main | bonus-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Thrown)
-> eff= -5(Str,min), 10(audio), throw(range)
-> eff= 2d4 +M +M(Str)(hp,prc), 2(pen)
-> 1ep for 15act
Description: This is similar to a chainblade except that its is a single serrated blade that rocks back and forth at similar frequencies. The motion is achieved through nanobots forming and reforming the blades. The vibroblade, therefore gets similar damage to a chainblade, but has the quietness of a nanoblade. The disadvantage is that the weapon is that it is schema active, and so vulnerable to electric attacks.
Vibroblade, short
6K:2(cost), 0.1/0.4(wt), 13(CC)
Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 6ep for bonus-act
Usage: melee-att(main | bonus-act)

-> 1ep for 10act
Description: A shortsword version of the previous listing.

Usage: melee-att(main-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Long)
-> eff= -1(Str,min), 15(audio) -> eff= 2d8 +M +M(Str)(hp,sls), 4(pen)
-> 1ep for 7act
Description: A longsword version of the previous listing.

Op: inactive, held ◊ s2a: 1hp 18ep for main-act
Usage: melee-att(main-act)
-> chk(TC)= +M(Wpn-Blades-Long)
-> eff= 2(Str,min), 15(audio) -> eff= 3d6 +M +M(Str)(hp,sls), 4(pen)
-> 2ep for 10act
Description: A two-handed sword version of the previous listing.
