The rest of the skill and technique benefits from this background, depend on the type of test subject that you were. For the first two (cybernetic test subject and genetic test subject), the benefits are in the form of appropriate enhancements. In the third case, you get additional skills in the form of psionics.
Test Subject (Cybernetic)
The experiments done on you were cybernetic. You were one of the lucky few, whose modifications didn’t kill or maim you.

Test Subject (Genetic)
Scientists with too few morals and far too much funding carried out all sorts of horrendous genetic experiments on you. With luck verging on the miraculous, you survived.

Test Subject (Psychic)
In most cases, you will have been identified as a psychic and abducted, or your parents were given an offer they couldn’t refuse. You were then subjected to tests and “trained” for the purposes of your captors.
Your Focus Factor (FX) increases by 1.
You may use the Psion Skills & Techniques from the Psion profession, spreading 4 ranks on the skills and 4 ranks on the techniques, as if you were advancing a level on that profession. Note that you can only select the psionic skills and techniques, not the others.
