Couriers

The courier can be considered a heavy and fast scout. Couriers have a similar versatility, are also compact and have broadly corresponding design realisations. They are notable and distinct from many other strikers in that they sport two striker rods side-by-side, in parallel, with the cargo and living space sitting between them.

Couriers are usually 50 to 80 tonnes, and although larger, and more expensive, have many more redundant systems, and have a fantastically regular and contiguous floorspace.

Speed Ferry

The speed ferry is a courier realisation of the launch ferry variant of the scout design. The goal of the variation is similarly to favour passenger capacity and storage. Speed ferries usually occupy the luxury end of the passenger transport industry. They are particularly common in Monarchrate and Syndicratium space, where they transport dignitaries, business leaders and other VIPs.

As adventurers often get refurbished, used speed ferries, the non-luxury configuration is presented below.

Express Boat

The express boat is by far, the fastest interstellar traveller of all the classic designs.

Although the express boat is actually a courier there are significant departure from this design to support its extraordinary speed. It’s striker rods are much larger, and there is less than half the cabin space between them. There is little attention paid to any aerodynamics, making it handle like a cargo container in an atmosphere. The express boat is pretty much all engine with a couple of living spaces nailed to them.

The purpose is to cross large distances very quickly. This can be to ferry messages, navigators, a rushed diplomatic mission, or some extremely high value item.

This listing presents the most minimal and budget format.
