Skiffs
Although the sorts of strikers that adventuring parties choose tend to be of the lesser sizes, there are classes of striker that are too small for even them. One of these classes is the skiff.
Skiffs are so small in capacity that their designs are dominated by the striker rod apparatus. As a result of this they can weigh anywhere between 50 and 90 tonnes, although they are most commonly toward the smaller end of that spectrum.
They are often operated as taxi services, or as a personal transport of the hyper-rich. They are most suited to travel in systems with multiple stars, where the distances between some planets can be more than a light year. They are generally not the best in long-range travel, because of its storage and supply limitations, or travel into lesser known areas, where you would need better sensory equipment.

While a skiff is roughly the size of today’s international, long haul passenger aircraft (minus the wings), it has nothing like the capacity of these aircraft, because 80 percent of its volume is taken up by the striker rod apparatus. In the smaller 10-tonne configurations, it can mean the cockpit is split-level, with the navigator to the back, and over the rod, and passengers, below and/or to either side. Sleep chambers, luggage and common rooms are similarly arrayed. The smaller configurations are limited to 3 sleep units, and its better to spend the majority of time in them: the rest of the space is usually cramped.
Minishuttle Skiff
At under 3 million credits, the minishuttle is about the cheapest striker imaginable. Within the operating limits of skiffs, this is a versatile vehicle, striking a balance between budget, speed and cargo.

Launch Skiff
The launch skiff remains cheap, giving up its internal storage for a third passenger. The launch is sometimes used by long-range (compared to non-striker equivalents) policing or taxi services.

Speeder Skiff
The speeder is the cheapest striker that can achieve 2(ethereal). It can achieve this partly by giving up the internal storage space. Its overall performance in and out of vacuum is excellent, outpacing most other air and spacecraft. She’s not fancy, but she’s got it where it counts.

Viceroy Skiff
The class of skiff is named after a popular brand in Syndicratium Space. It is equally as fast as the speeder, but is fancy, really fancy. This is definitely the rich kids plaything, nothing says that you’ve got unnecessarily fat wads of cash like this baby.

Shotter Skiff
If the viceroy just isn’t powerful enough for you, and you want a more sporty interior, then perhaps we can interest you in the shotter. Now this is pretty much the fastest thing going (although see next entry for a rare military vessel). It will out run just about any other skiff, and it can even do pretty far shots in the ethereal: pretty amazing for its size.
As far as it appearance goes, its pretty much what it looks like: a striker rod apparatus with a bit of spaceship wrapped around it.

Imperator Skiff
Imperators are an unusual craft designed to transport just the navigator really quickly. The idea behind these craft are that if the navigator has been killed or is otherwise unable to do their function on a striker, then another navigator can be called in. Its speed in both vacuum and ethereal, minimises the time elapsed before a crew can get going again. The skiff is small enough to fit in the smallest of cargo holds.
Imperators are mostly used by military navies, but there are corporations that provide this service as well.
