Empathic-Projection (Telepthy)

Properties

Base(s): Telepathy
Usage: project(main-act,R,2fp) imp(sv,Insight,8 +M*) -> eff= impose emotional state for rnd
Mishap: insanity-1 (acquired on first ranks)
Description: Impose an emotional state on a creature you can see

You can use your main-act and 2fp to imp(sv,Insight,8+M*) on a creature you can see. If the subject fails that save, you can impose one of the following emotional states on them:

Belief

You speak with a creature to impress upon them an idea. While it’s up to the recipient, how they interpret the idea exactly, on a failed save they will believe it.

Despair

The creature suffers disadvantage on all checks and saves.

Fear

The creature becomes frightened. While frightened by this projection, a creature must take the Dash action and move away from you by the safest available route on each of its turns, unless there is nowhere to move. If the creature ends its turn in a location where it doesn't have line of sight to you, the creature can make another sv(Insight,8 +M*). On a successful save, the projected emotion ends for that creature.

Friends

The creature improves one level in their attitude toward you, and you have advantage on all chk(Persuade) directed at that creature (as long as it isn't hostile toward you). When the effect ends, the creature realises that you used some nefarious means to influence them and becomes hostile toward you. A creature prone to violence might attack you, others may seek retribution in other ways (at the GM's discretion), depending on the nature of your interaction with it.

Hope

The creature gains advantage on all checks and saves.

Rage

The creature gains advantage on all checks and saves relating to Strength and Resolve, and gains +M* resistance to frc, prc and sls damage, or +M*(rst, frc, rst, sls).

The state lasts until the beginning of your next turn, or until they save.
