With this technique you can use your precognitive ability to push for a better outcome. Using your free-action, and spending 1fp, you can re-roll a saving throw that you just failed. On the re-roll, you may add your modifier in Precognitive-Save to the reroll, that is roll:

retry(free-act, 1fp) = reroll(sv,any,failed) & bonus(sv,any,failed)= +M*(Precognitive-Save)

You must take the second result, meaning that you cannot use your free-action in the next round to attempt a reroll on the same failed save.
