Over a scene, you can enter a trance state, which arrests your metabolism, such that you do not breathe at all, consume nothing, and do not age. This effectively means that you become inert over this time and you will only awaken when conditions become favourable again. The time you can spend in this state, in days, is equal to your modifier (plus focus points) you spend initially.
