This technique allows you to inspire a creature into greatness. Unless you are using this technique with Telepathy, your ally must be able to hear and understand you.

Provide an inspiration die (which is a d1, d2, d3, ... , up to d12, depending on the modifier – see below).

At any time in the next 10 minutes, that creature can use that die on any single skill roll, or save it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the inspiration die, but must decide before the GM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one inspiration die at a time.

The size of the inspiration die you can offer is half your modifier in Inspire. If your modifier is 10, the inspiration die is a d5.
