Vex (Persuasion, Telepathy)
Properties
Base(s): Persuasion|Telepathy
Usage: sap(re-act, R, 1fp) -> 1(tg,opp) -> take d(½•M*)chk|sv
Description: Foil an opponent by giving them a vex die.
This technique allows you to distract, annoy, confuse, or otherwise sew doubt into your opponents. Unless you are using this technique with Telepathy, your opponent must be able to hear and understand you.
Vex
You can use your reaction, to impose a vex die (which is a d1, d2, d3, ... , up to d12, depending on the modifier – see below), which is rolled and subtracted from their next chk or sv.
A creature can have only one vex die at a time.
The size of the vex die you impose is half your modifier in Vex. If your modifier is 10, the vex die is a d5.
